I agree you can't, but it doesn't hurt to start planning and discussing stuff now. Heck I think I remember it snowing in May before I believe. I can't remember if that was in Weston, but I remember it getting quite cold for a spell. It didn't occur to me about the daylight savings deal. It probably would be better to do after that.

Just more time to play. Some people don't take their cars out until april.... not sure about any subie owners on that one.. even thought it's an AWD car some don't get them out until it's nicer.

I'd say a good majority take their subies out even in the bad weather to play. I'm sure some don't want to deal with getting theirs dirty. I'm not even going to worry about keeping mine clean till early spring. I'll try to keep the salt sprayed off and mud, but that's about it.

Ok need to wake these car cruise stuff up! Southern car cruise end of March beginning of April. What do you Subie peeps think? I see there are plenty of route suggestions already up on this one. I have already been to Bramwell and to Pocahontas, VA. Some great twisties. I guess my only concern would be road conditions after all this salt and feezing/thawing deal.

April would be better because it gives them more time to fix the roads.

Wait for fixed roads. I'm dodging them all the way to work it seems like, I have no desire to sacrifice a saturday just to dodge them all day long.

Maybe I'll have my 360 Young running and ready for a long drive by then.

Then again won't these potholes show the exceptional skill of the driver and car? I mean you have to be alert and swerve miss these holes in areas that can be on blinding turns.  Very Happy

And you can thank American Water for making alot of those holes near my area. Yes, the water company cuts through the blacktop all the way to the line and barely fills the hole in with a thin layer of concrete. Well then that wears down to a 12" deep hole. And then either AW or DOH fills it in with gravel. They use to put metal plates over those holes. I really wish they would still do that.

In honesty, after talking to some state gov people, alot of these potholes won't really be repaired till mid summer. There is an emergency fund that the state government has. If enough grip and let their voices known to the correct higher ups, hopefully these roads will be repaired sooner. Just because one state department is in the hole financially, does not mean the entire government is.
