I didnt see any motor specs yet. Just came across some Car and Driver pics.


New STI design

So they took away the widebody again

That rear end is gross.

That car is only a mule for the new drivetrain, not an accurate representation of the body appearance

Can't wait for the new specs of the FB turbo in STi trim. I hope they bump up the power some.

Same here. I also hope it loses some of its weight.

If that really is the new design of the STI, I'm a fan of that front!

Man thats fugly! but like Burks said, most likely just the test car for the underlying goodies.

As far as I've heard the next gen wrx and sti will be on its own chassis and no longer share much with the impreza

I hope so... Im not much of a fan of the new look of the 2012+ Imprezas.

I'd say they will bump the power, but It will get fatter that is nearly certain.

I agree. I'm not impressed with the new design. It doesn't look sporty enough.

I didnt see or here anyone on here say this. but the new design is suppose to also be available in a 2 door sedan version as well. i dont believe we will see the "Hatch" anymore but i could be wrong with that statement.

front mount turbo but a TMIC? body looks like an imprezza with a scoop so I hope thats not the finished product...

The diesel over seas has a front mount turbo with a tmic...I'm excited as far as the drive train goes..
