| I would do a LS3 in a BRZ in a heartbeat! lol.. if I had the coin to do it, that is..
I know, I know, it's WAYY too much power! I know. if I had a RWD car, it would be for drifting. that being said, i'd want a POS to goof around in; that way I wouldn't be worried about tearing it up..
back on topic, i'm glad my car was bumped off the home page by something so cool!

| Don't know how it bumped it... lol.. but anyway. Lot of misconceptions about RWD cars. They take a different skill set to drive hard that's for sure, ( not saying better just different) | |

He speaks the truth. I can't even begin to describe how different it is from a normal awd Subaru. I have to relearn how to drive in certain situations and I still catch myself getting on trottle way sooner than I need to be at times.

| I know there are a lot of misconceptions about RWD cars, they CAN handle better than most other platforms, AWD is just easier to get more out of (by the driver) where RWD has more potential to be nimble & responsive. | |

| Funny story, I have owned FWD cars, I had a grand am Gt and a pontiac G6GT 200 Ft lbs of torque with VVT it was a flat curve, better low end than my LS1's.. but it would roast them at any time i chose with Traction control off... But I have driven almost exclusively RWD vehicles for the last few years now. So when i set up Vixen's suspension, i set it until it felt good for me.... responded the way i felt a car should.... welllll she drove it and said... the rear end is wanting to slide, and chirping tires on turns... well having lived with AWD for many years she Punches the gas earlier and harder than I do.... went from medium setting to softest setting, and fixed the problem. | |

| Lighter too! a good deal lighter actually.
sad part is the price of doing that to a new BRZ you could buy a C6z06 used lol hell i have seen C6's under 25K now that C7's are out.

| & as far as the whole buying a used corvette is concerned,
it's pretty crazy how such awesome cars are becoming SO affordable.. I mean, E46 M3s can be had for les than 20K these days.. that's insane! such an awesome car with SO MUCH potential.. it's got the German equivalent to the 2JZGte under the hood. HPF gets 750WHP out of them on stock internals.. freakin awesome.
ughh. I talk about these cars & wonder why I paid more for a Subaru.
but then I look at pictures, and play the videos I have of my car, and I remember.. I am in love. haha

Yikes! You're like 7 hours ahead of me! So when you come in, is it for good or do you have to go back to finish your term? Sorry I'm not entirely sure how it all works for the military. lol

| at the moment I am a 91B, wheeled vehicle mechanic, & my unit is based out of Kingwood, WV. once I get home, I plan on transferring into the 150th Aviation wing, to begin my journey of becoming a helicopter pilot. that's the plan, at least | |
